The top five things i learned in my internship and how i can use them further:

1. communication - i felt that i learned how to effectively and professionally communicate through the office space. and knowing how to properly communicate is so important moving forward in my career.

2. how to maintain professional relationships - i felt that this internship really showed me what it is like to have professional relationships and how those can help you in the long run. this helped with making connections to use further in my career.

3. time management - i had a lot of my own projects from multiple different brands that all had different due dates. so i learned how to best handle my time and what was more important to get done than others.

4. how to adapt to changes - sometimes things happen in production so that you will have to make last minute changes and decisions on the fly. this was good to see and learn how to do because this will help a lot in our industry, so it is good to have that practice in before i start my career. it will help me learn to navigate those situations easier in the future.

5. keeping records - i learned it is so important in our industry to make records of everything little change that is made to a garment and to make sure that everyone who needs to know of the change has that information as well. this was a big part of my job at the internship.
