Internship Blog

This week at my internship i have learned more about the merchandising side of fashion, which is helping me with my career goals. for my career, i want to go into the field knowing both design and merchandising sides. at school, the design students get to take some merchandising classes but not many, so this internship is really helping me get to know the merchandising side, which is helping me for that side of my career goal. this week i have really felt immersed into what a true day to day looks like for a merchandising position. i feel like i am catching on and understanding more of what is happening around me and why it is happening. i also am working towards my career goal in terms of knowing if i want to work in an office or not, and also how to communicate within the office building.
